Why this work matters
Every sack of waste we recover is a tree we can leave standing.
I built YESO so that waste in our communities would stop being a burden and start being fuel, income, and training. The numbers above are the fruit of that vision so far: waste recovered, trees potentially protected as households switch to our charcoal, young people trained at the press, and communities we now reach.
We recover waste, produce alternative charcoal, deliver it, and make cookstoves for schools and institutions. Young people do this work with us. That is how impact looks from Kyebando.
